In early April, we rescued a litter of 8 puppies (5 males, 3 females) and their mom from an overcrowded NM shelter. The mom is not a purebred BC (our guess is BC/lab), and the pups are obviously mixed as well, but sometimes those make the best dogs, especially for families with kids! The pups are 6 weeks old (as of April 6th), and will not be available for adoption until the end of April but we are accepting applications now.
PLEASE NOTE: Because they are so young and their individual personalities are just starting to emerge, we will not consider applications for specific puppies at this time, so please specify in your application whether you have preferences regarding gender and/or color.
These pups' adoptions will include a spay/neuter deposit of $100 in addition to the adoption fee; the deposit will be cheerfully refunded to the adopting family once proof of spay/neuter has been provided by/around 6 months of age. These babies and their mom are currently in a loving foster home near Durango, CO.
